Why Weāre Proud to Have Luke in the Jackal Pack
Some people join Jackal Workwear for the kit. Others join for the community. For Luke Freeman of Freeman Electrical, itās both ā and more.
After watching the hype build, seeing the pride tradies take in wearing the Jackal, and following the stories we share, Luke knew he wanted in. Heās got the work ethic, the banter, and the passion for the trade that make him a perfect fit for the Pack.

Q&A with Luke Freeman
Why Did You Join The Pack?
āBeen seeing the stories, the hype, and how much pride everyoneās got wearing Jackal ā just made me want to be part of it. Itās more than workwear now⦠itās a movement šŖš¼ā
For Luke, Jackal is more than clothes ā itās about being part of something bigger, a movement that connects tradespeople and celebrates what we do.

What Made You Get Into the Trade?
āYear 10 work experience ā my dad threw me in with his mate at PSP Electrical. I didnāt have a clue what I was doing, but I loved it from day one. Been hooked ever since.ā
Lukeās spark (literally) started young ā and from that first taster he never looked back.
Ā
Weirdest Thing Thatās Happened On-Site?
āWatching my mate full-send a scissor lift straight into a brand-new wall⦠that Iād just finished running LED strip on. The silence after was unreal šā
Some days youāre smashing the job⦠some days youāre smashing the wall.
Ā
If You Were a Tool, What Would You Be?
āMulti-tool. Loud, always vibrating, and somehow still essential.ā
Versatile and built for anything ā Luke brings that same energy to the trade.
Ā
Jackal Design You Want to See Next?
āYou need a design for each trade ā sparkys, plumbers, chippies. Imagine your wolf repping each one: wiring a fuseboard, soldering pipes⦠would go hard.ā
Lukeās idea? Trade-specific Jackal designs with the wolf in action for every craft.

Lukeās Question for The Pack

Industry Insights: Luke on Tool Theft & Mental Health
Ā
Tool Theft ā The Constant Worry
āTool theft is honestly one of the biggest worries Iāve got. I check my van constantly ā every stop, every job. Alarms, deadlocks, tools in every night, but it still plays on my mind. The worst part? Even if you do everything right, the police canāt (or wonāt) do much. Then you see stolen gear at a car boot sale and no one bats an eyelid. Even choosing somewhere to live, Iām thinking about parking against a wall or being able to carry tools inside. I know lads whoāve been cleaned out and nearly lost their business. Itās not just tools ā itās your livelihood.ā
Lukeās words echo so many in the trade ā this isnāt paranoia, itās a daily reality. And itās why we keep supporting the #StopToolTheft movement.
Ā
Mental Health in the Trades
āIām lucky Iāve not struggled myself, but Iāve seen the pressure this trade can put on people ā long days, bad weather, no breaks, work going quiet. A lot of lads just bottle it up because thatās the culture ā āget on with it.ā We need to change that. It should be normal to say youāre not alright. Weāve got to check in more, make it OK to chat ā even if itās just over a brew or in the van after a shift.ā
Lukeās insight is clear ā we can all play a part in making the trade more supportive and open about mental health.
