Jackal Workwear: The Story So Far
In the heart of the construction industry, where hard graft meets innovation, Jackal Workwear has emerged as a brand with a mission to disrupt the norm. Born from a single Instagram story and a quote that resonated deeply—“Business Feeds the Family. Content Feeds the Ego.”—Jackal Workwear is redefining what it means to create workwear for tradespeople. This is not just about clothing; it’s about building a movement rooted in community, values, and authenticity.
The Beginning: A Bold Idea
Less than two weeks ago, Jackal Workwear was nothing more than an idea sparked by a quote shared by @woodwaywindows. That simple yet profound statement captured the essence of what many tradespeople experience daily: the balance between working hard to support their families and navigating the influencer-driven world of social media. From that spark, the Jackals—a team with differing backgrounds in construction—decided to take on the challenge of creating something new.
With no prior experience in launching a brand, Jackal Workwear was built on sheer determination and passion. The goal was clear: to create quality workwear while giving back to the industry that inspired it.
The Mission: For The Pack
At Jackal Workwear, we don’t believe in following trends or chasing influencer partnerships that benefit only a select few. Instead, we’ve built our brand around The Pack—a community of hardworking individuals who deserve better from their workwear brands. Our guiding principles are simple yet powerful:
- Community First: Every decision we make is for The Pack.
- Giving Back: 25% of our operating profits will be donated to industry-based charities every quarter.
- Faceless Values: By remaining anonymous as founders, we’ve removed preconceived notions and focused solely on our message and mission.
The Rollercoaster Ride
Since launching our Instagram page, The Pack has taken us on an incredible journey. We’ve been called everything from saviours to pyramid scheme dealers—and everything in between. But through it all, your support has been overwhelming. Every DM, comment, and share has reminded us why we started this in the first place.
Behind the scenes, the Jackals have worked tirelessly to finalise designs, build the website, and prepare for launch. Thanks to this effort, we’re ahead of schedule and ready to hand over the keys to the store.
The Designs: Grafted for This, Not Gifted
Our designs reflect the grit and determination of tradespeople while poking fun at influencer culture. One standout piece carries the tagline:
“Grafted for this, not gifted!”
This design is a tongue-in-cheek nod to those who hustle daily to feed their families while highlighting the absurdity of chasing likes and followers. It’s a reminder that while social media may boost egos, it’s hard work that truly sustains us.
On our soon-to-launch website, you’ll find this statement about influencers:
- We respect their achievements but won’t compromise our values for partnerships that don’t align with our mission.
- Genuine collaborations are welcome, with 50% of profits going to an industry-based charity chosen by The Pack.
- No paid promotions or promo codes—just partnerships that benefit everyone.
The Lost City: Our First Charitable Cause
With 83% of your votes, we’re proud to announce that our first charitable donation will go to The Lost City, a collaboration between Band of Builders and Construction Sport. This initiative addresses the mental health crisis in construction—a sector where suicide rates are four times higher than the national average.
Key Stats Behind The Lost City:
- Over 7,000 construction workers have died by suicide in the past decade.
- That’s equivalent to building an entire city—hence The Lost City campaign name.
- Their mission is to raise £2.5 million for therapy sessions and mental health support.
By supporting The Lost City campaign, Jackal Workwear aims to raise awareness and funds for mental health support in construction while contributing 25% of its operating profits every quarter.
What’s Next? The Keys Are in Your Hands
Our journey so far has been extraordinary—but this is only the beginning. As we prepare for launch, we’re handing over control to The Pack. Here’s how it works:
- A select few members will receive their orders first.
- Once three members tag us with their new gear on Instagram stories, we’ll officially announce our launch.
This isn’t just about selling workwear—it’s about creating a movement driven by community, kindness, and shared values.
Final Thoughts: Gratitude and Growth
We’re incredibly grateful for three things:
- Your overwhelming support for our message and mission.
- Proving that a company doesn’t need faces or egos to spread good news.
- Revealing true colours—both good and bad—of individuals in this space. To those who’ve doubted or criticised us unfairly: should our identities ever come to light, you might want to reconsider your words.
To everyone else—thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we’re building something bigger than just a brand; we’re creating a community that stands for something real.
Welcome to Jackal Workwear. Welcome to The Pack.
